Lombo Gordo's Beach

Sheltered and secluded beach, you can enjoy the quiet of the calm waters and sand therein. With some support infrastructure, it is surrounded by the so characteristic green Azores.

Pico Bartolomeu's viewpoint

Access to this viewpoint, in full saw Tronqueira, is itself a nice ride, an embroidered hydrangeas road. At the top of 887 meters may be seen an immense landscape that stretches to the sea. It is one of the highest points of the island.

Ribeira dos Caldeirões's Natural Park

Refurbished in 2005, the park consists of several endemic plant species, water mills and two old miller residences, transformed into recreational space.

Nordeste's Museum

Opened in 1898, the museum has an interesting collection of pieces and local ethnography implements (agricultural implements, utensils used in pig slaughter, etc.). There is also a section with the costumes of other times and an old ceramic exhibition space. This space recalls the recent past and present in the memory of São Miguel and, in particular, nordestenses.

Pesqueiro's Viewpoint

This viewpoint can be reached broad view of the beautiful natural landscapes of the island, with the green of the abundant flora and the blue sea in evidence.

Ponta da Madrugada's Viewpoint

This stunning gazebo is surrounded by beautiful gardens and allows seeing the grandeur of the north coast of the island. They say the locals which is the ideal place to watch the sunrise.

RAIL LOMBA DA FAZENDA

The Lomba da Fazenda begins in the public garden of Nordeste, follow the path to the county fair camping, place of lush vegetation and where water mills can be enjoyed. This park, the pedestrian route follows to Foz da Ribeira (bathing area), rising thereafter by rail, to the Endémico Park.

RAIl NOSSA SENHORA DO PRANTO

The Nossa Senhora do Pronto Rais have a duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes in total, 2km on linear ground. Initiated in Nossa Senhora do Pranto Church, passing Pocinho ending in Assomada.

RAIL ALGARVIA / PICO DA VARA

The Algarvia / Pico da Vara rail is a route with an average duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes over 3 km, it is considered an ecological / cultural route and is inserted in the Natural Forest Reserve of Nordeste. This route begin in Algarve, through Pico Redondo and ending at Pico da Vara.
