Access to this viewpoint, in full saw Tronqueira, is itself a nice ride, an embroidered hydrangeas road. At the top of 887 meters may be seen an immense landscape that stretches to the sea. It is one of the highest points of the island.
Refurbished in 2005, the park consists of several endemic plant species, water mills and two old miller residences, transformed into recreational space.

The Algarvia / Pico da Vara rail is a route with an average duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes over 3 km, it is considered an ecological / cultural route and is inserted in the Natural Forest Reserve of Nordeste. This route begin in Algarve, through Pico Redondo and ending at Pico da Vara.
